Most special events fall into either one of two categories: private or non-private. A private party will be placed in a location that is secluded from other dining room guests. Birk’s has 2 private dining rooms, the Banquet Room and the Deck Room. Private dining functions involve food and beverage minimums which vary depending on the day of the week, time, and length of event. The food and beverage minimums do not include a 20% service charge and applicable sales tax. A maximum of 40 guests can be accommodated in a private setting. Our Dining Coordinator will guide you through creating a custom menu for groups of 15 or more and can help you make selections to best meet your group’s needs. Events with guests of 14 or less may order from our full menu. To further customize your event, we are happy to coordinate with off-site vendors for specialty flowers, linens and audio/visual equipment. Non-private events are for groups ranging from 15 to 23 guests, are placed in a location where other dining guests are seated and order from a custom menu. These reservations do not require a food and beverage minimum, but do require a $200 deposit. Up to 23 guests can be accommodated as a non-private party. Parties greater than 23 are required to reserve a private room in order to ensure optimum service and ambience for all restaurant guests. Buy-outs are available for dinner service only, Friday through Sunday. Please contact the Dining Coordinator for more information.
